Client Detector Mod
Display what client other players are using!
info
This mod may not detect spoofed clients or clients that do not announce themselves.
General Settings
- Use Multiline: Toggles whether client information is rendered on a separate line above the nametag or inline with the name.
- Require movement: If enabled, the mod will wait for an entity to move before attempting to detect its client. Useful for filtering out NPCs or statutes.
- Metadata Check: If enabled, requires specific entity metadata to be present before checking.
- Show java players: Toggles displaying client information for players connecting via Java Edition. Not 100% accurate.
- Draw client name: Master toggle for rendering the detected client name text.
Differentiation Settings
- Differentiate probably real resent and possible resent: Distinguishes between clients confirmed to be on Resent Client and those identified via legacy methods (Possible/Unverified).
- Render verified resent checkmark: Renders a checkmark icon next to users confirmed to be using Resent Client.
- Render verified resent in pink: Changes the text color of the client name/tag to Light Purple for verified Resent users.
Icon Settings
- Draw resent icon: Renders the Resent Client logo next to the nametag of other Resent users.
- Adjust icon nametag position: Offsets the text to center the combination of Name + Icon visually.
- Don't draw resent name if drawing icons: Hides the text "Resent" if the logo is being rendered, to reduce visual clutter.
- Don't draw unverified if drawing icons: Hides text indicating unverified status if an icon is being drawn.
Hack Client Detection Settings
- Draw hacker alert: Renders a bold CHEATER tag above players detected using known hacked clients.
- Don't draw client if drawing alert: Hides the specific hacked client name if the CHEATER tag is active.
- Alert when near hack users: Sends a local client notification when a player using a known hacked client enters your render distance.
- Alert type: Configures the style of the notification used for the alert.
